    QHow do I place an order?

    AVisit the Contact Us page, fill in the form and I will get back to you ASAP. Quotes are only done via email. If you accept the quote, final details will be discussed and I will send through an invoice and the booking will be confirmed once the deposit has been paid.

    QCake Serving Sizes

    AThe serving size guide is used for standard shaped cakes (circle or square) and are usually referred to as coffee or dessert portions. Coffee portions are 2.5cm x 2.5cm x height of the cake and are half the size of dessert portions which are 2.5cm x 5cm x height of the cake.

    QDeposits and Final Payment

    AOnce an order has been placed, an invoice will be sent and a 30% deposit will be required within 5 days to secure the date. If the deposit is not paid within this time and there has been no correspondence, the date will be forfeited and available to be taken by other customers.

    A second invoice will be sent for the remainder and full payment will be required 7 days prior to the pickup/delivery date. If the full amount is not paid before 10 days and there is no correspondence, the order will be cancelled and the full deposit forfeited.

    QWhat if I Need to Cancel My Order?

    AThe deposit is non refundable but may be transferred to another date if the order is cancelled 2 weeks out from the due date 

    Cancellations less than two weeks before the due date will forfeit the deposit depending on the circumstances (eg COVID Lockdown), in which case the deposit may be transferred to another date.

    Any customised items that have been purchased on your behalf prior to cancellation and cannot be used for another customer will require payment in full and the item will then be given to you.

    All cancellations or order changes must be done in writing via email

    QHow much notice is required?

    AA minimum of 7 days notice is required for customised cakes, but as much notice as possible is always best to make sure the date is available and to also give enough time to order any customised decorations that may be required such as a topper.

    If you do have an urgent last minute order, please phone or email and I will do my best to accommodate you if I have availability. Full payment is required on the day for anything ordered within two weeks of the required date.

    QPickup and Delivery

    APickup is available from Kensington Gardens (between Magill Road and The Parade) by appointment. The full address will be given upon ordering.

    Delivery is also offered and is recommended for larger cakes. There is a delivery fee and that will vary depending on the location.  This cost will be confirmed in the quote.

    All items are fully packaged and boxed prior to pickup or delivery.

    QDo you make Vegan/Allergy Friendly Cakes?

    AI unfortunately do not make allergy free or vegan cakes at this stage.

    QHow do I Transport the Cake Safely?

    AThe best way to transport your cake is on a flat surface either in the boot area (make sure it is airconditioned on hot days) or on the floor of the front passenger seat. It is advised to place some non stick matting underneath the box to stop it from sliding. 

    Your passengers lap or the car seat (which tends to tilt backwards) are not great options.
