CAKE TRANSPORTATION

All Cakes, Cupcakes, Cookies and Treats are packaged before pickup so they are best protected during transport. The best way to transport cakes is to have the box on a flat surface such as the boot (as long as it is airconditioned during hot weather) or the floor of the car on the front passenger side. Car seats tend to tilt backwards and a passengers lap can also be unstable.

During hot weather, it is also essential that the car is airconditioned and the cake or cupcakes are not left sitting in direct sunlight.

Once the cake has been collected it is no longer the responsibility of Sweet Essence and it is up to the person transporting the cake to make sure it remains undamaged. If damage does occur however, please contact us and we can discuss the issue. If I am able to fix the cake I will (regardless of fault), however depending on the damage and how it occurred, there may be a fee.
